My name is Paul Greer, I work full time at BDH, making computer animation for the telly.
This is my main blog with news, work updates, new drawings, stories, comics, notebook pages, how tos, animations and link dumps. My more impulsive internet scrapbook is here.

On the Skywalkers…
- Youngest: Daddy, how many people did Darth Vader kill?
- Parent: Well, he killed lots of people. He murdered all the Jedis.
- Youngest: And how many people did Luke kill?
- Parent: Not very many I think. Mostly monsters and some stormtroopers as far as I remember.
- Eldest: Hang on, didn’t Luke destroy the Death Star?
- Parent: Yes, yes he did.
- Eldest: So he actually killed LOADS of people, lots more than Darth Vader did.
- Parent: You’ve got a point there.
Guest Directed Self Portrait #21

This is my contribution to Guest Directed Self Portrait #21 as directed by SexArtAndPolitics.
“Take a picture of your face. The camera should be straight on but slight deviation is acceptable. You can’t put your hand in the frame or use a prop. Be as done up or plain as you like. Use whatever expression you like. But the only things in the shot can be your head and some neck.”
(That’s really the best I could manage.)
Africa
Here’s another thing.
I made that there globe in this trailer for the new BBC series Africa, coming your way soon.
Wonders Of Life
At BDH we made the graphics for this new series from Prof Brian Cox. It features a specially updated version of the Galaxy Song by Eric Idle, pretty much outlining the 4 billion year history of life in three and a half minutes.
Season’s greetings!

Hope you’re all where you meant to be, and aren’t too soggy.
London bound with a very English light.
